How to Polish Nails
To get the smoothest and most complete
coverage..try this...
Pictures below have the strokes in contrasting colors to demonstrate...you would use all the same color....read on....
Start by
making one stripe down the center
Then one
more swipe down one side
Then the
other...as you see this covers the
entire nail.
The reason to do it this way is because once the polish starts drying you don't want to disturb it too much or it can smudge or clump up. By polishing this way you cover the nail but won't disturb the wet strokes. If you do not get the coverage you want or would like it darker..then let the nail dry completely and do these steps again.
At this time I do not sell nail polish because it's too hard to mail...but check back..I am still trying to figure out the customs and start selling it....but I hope this helps.

that old nail polish….
If you
have had your nail polish for a long period of time it may become thick and
or clumpy. Add a couple drops of nail polish thinner. Shake well, let set
for a few minutes to let the thinner break down the clumps, then shake well
again. If this doesn't work treat yourself to a new bottle.
Polish
flake off too soon? Not sticking to your nails?
If you
have the problem of your nail polish not sticking to your nails or chipping
off your nails too soon, well I have the solution…..Try cleaning your nails
with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol, lemon juice or vinegar to clean all oils, lotions,
crème, or any other contaminants that might be on your nails. By cleaning
your nails this way your polish will stay on longer and for those of you
with oily nails this might help to keep the polish on your nails a little
longer..
Top
coat helps get a smoother polished result…
Apply a
thin layer of clear or top coat before polishing nails. This will help
smooth out any ridges and it will protect your nails from staining with dark
nail polish.
Take
off excess from brush…
When you
pull out the nail polish brush make sure you wipe one side on the rim of the
bottle, this helps in two ways…1) you won’t have too much polish on the
brush and you have less drips….and 2) this will help prevent air bubbles.
Top
coat protects and refreshes…
Always
apply top coat to your nails after polishing or applying nail art. It helps
to hide any ridges or flaws and it helps secure the nail art onto nail.
Another good tip is to apply top coat to your nails every few days to
REFRESH the looks of the nail and prolong the beauty of your work a little
longer.
Nail
polish takes more than 2 minutes to dry….
Nail
polish will actually take about an hour to fully dry and set. If you need
to apply more than one coat wait at least 15 minutes between coats. If you
apply wet polish or top coat on top of one another the bottom layer does not
have time to dry and that means that your nails will take twice as long to
dry and there is more chance of nicks and smudges.
