How to Apply Non Piercing
Nose Jewel
These pretty little jewels can also be worn on the corners of your eyes for
a really exciting look! Customers report liking this stick on nose
jewel better than the old fashioned magnetic ones...for two reasons...
First the
magnetic ones are usual quite large and unattractive...and second you don't
have to worry about losing the magnet backing that is stuck up your nose or
worse...snorting it up your nose! OUCH
1. Removing New Nose Jewel From
The Package - When removing nose
jewel from the package, be sure to do so carefully. This is especially true
with formal sets that have the fancy edging. What works best for me is to
gently fold the clear plastic backing and the edge of the jewel will
separate, then lift completely off the backing. Be careful not to
touch the stick backing too much.
2. Clean Skin - This
is an important step to ensure that your jewel sticks to you skin. Use
soap and water, lemon juice (this really cleans the oils off). If you
just stick it onto your skin without cleaning the oils on your nose can
limit the way the jewel adheres to your skin.
3. 4. Reusing Your Nose Jewel
- Some choose to keep the jewel for re-use and some don't keep them at
all, they just use a new on each time.
If you choose to keep your jewel simply lift off skin and
place in a small zip close baggie or if it's still sticky then stick it back
onto the backing it originally came on. Depending on your skin these
nose jewels can sometimes be used several times before the glue stops
working. If you choose to re-use your jewel but it no longer sticks
then here are a few suggestions...please use at your own caution and if
irritation occurs...discontinue use immediately and wash the area with soap
and water.
Here are a few glues that are safe and gentle and usually
do not cause irritation. (but it could happen so use your best judgment when
using these glues)
ELMERS WASHABLE GLUE STICK - non toxic and water washable
CLEAR FALSE EYELASH GLUE - cosmetic grade glue that is easily removable
Some prefer to use BINDI glue, but I have found that whatever is in this
particular glue can really irritate the skin...so this is on I don't
suggest.
Please note that the suggestions above are from my
experience, use at your own risk.
